Foam Pump Bottle Use & Directions:
Our foam pumps and bottles are the same foam pumps and bottles seen in many retail stores throughout the world. Bed Bath & Beyond, Bath & Body Works, Neutrogena, Dial, Go-Jo, Johnson & Johnson, Pampered Chef and many more…
The pumps are designed to work with a any solution specifically made for foaming soap pumps. You may choose your own “liquid base” not gel base soap concentrate and dilute the solution with water to create the desired foam effect. We have found that any liquid dish soap like Lemon Fresh Joy, Palmolive or Dawn work well.
Dilution Rate:
You should start with 1 part soap to 8 parts water. If the foam looks like syrup, it is too concentrated. If it looks like spit, it is too watery. This will vary depending on the product you have chosen. Keep in mind that these pumps are not made to last indefinitely and improper dilution rates may impact the life of the pump.
Usage and Care:
The pumps were not designed for use under running water. Use in the shower is not recommended as water can seep down the neck and get into the air chamber located beneath the pump.
The pump mechanism has a small amount of lubricant in the chamber to keep the pump moving smoothly. This will break down over time and cause the pump to stick. You may pull the pump apart and add a small amount of lubricant to keep the pump from sticking. Any silicone base or water insoluble lubrication will do.
